Creative Planner
Scope of work:
layout design - print design
VIBE: Joyful / Creative / Organised / Playful
This planner is a personal project born out of pure necessity and a bit of creative stubbornness! I couldn’t find a planner that truly fit the way my multi-passionate brain works. Most planners were either too rigid, too generic, or simply didn’t leave enough room for the way I like to capture ideas, plan projects, and keep track of creative sparks.
So, I decided to design my own. I wanted a planner that would feel inspiring to open each day, with layouts tailored specifically for creative thinkers, big dreamers, and people juggling lots of ideas at once. And because I’m me, I couldn’t resist turning it into a printed piece that looks as lovely as it is practical. I’m so please with how it turned out.
A peek inside my process
I started by listing everything I wanted my ideal planner to include: space for daily notes, idea dumps, project tracking, and prompts to keep me connected to my creative goals. From there, I sketched out various page layouts until I landed on designs that felt open yet organised.
Visually, I aimed for a playful but clean aesthetic — bright colours, bold shapes, and a layout that feels spacious and easy on the eyes. I wanted the cover design to spark curiosity and joy every time I picked it up.
Once the designs were finalised, I prepared everything for print production, ensuring the artwork, typography, and technical specs were spot on for high-quality printing.
